Concentration of filtered food extracts
Evaluate thermal exposure, deposits and the final liquid properties together.
Document extraction and filtration
Provide the extraction medium, filtration boundary and remaining suspended material. This site covers food-liquid water removal; solvent handling or hazardous service needs a separate engineering scope and is not presumed suitable.
Follow changing properties
An extract that pumps easily at the inlet may become more viscous or deposit on the surface as concentration increases. Characterise the intended outlet and identify any precipitation, crystallisation or foaming observed during bench trials.
Keep quality measurable
Select relevant colour, aroma, active ingredient or other product quality criteria with the process owner. Compare the whole thermal history and residence arrangement. A low pressure alone cannot guarantee retention of a sensitive component.
Define trial and cleaning evidence
Request a representative concentration trial where property uncertainty is material. Include observation of deposits, recoverability and cleanability. The result should inform a viable operating range rather than imply unlimited feed flexibility.
