Instrumentation & CIP interface for falling-film evaporation
Make operating limits observable and cleaning boundaries explicit.
CONTROL / REPEATABILITY
A concentration setpoint alone cannot reveal dry tubes or a failing utility. The instrument list should connect each operating risk to a measurement and an agreed response. Cleaning control needs a defined boundary that includes the distributor, tubes, separator and transfer lines.

| Measurements | Define locations, units, calibration and acceptable uncertainty. |
| Interlocks | Review loss of feed, vacuum or cooling, and safe shutdown. |
| CIP coverage | Verify distribution and return through every product-contact section. |
Operation & maintenance
Use a documented transition between production, displacement, cleaning and return to service. Cleaning chemistry, temperature and exposure are validated for the actual soil and materials rather than supplied as a universal recipe.
Selection limit
Automation records support validation; they do not establish hygienic performance by themselves. Confirm coverage and residue acceptance with the responsible process team.
