Feed distributor design evidence for food liquids
Review distributor geometry, inspection access and flow distribution before accepting a falling-film configuration.
Read the distributor with the tube sheet
Request an identified section drawing showing feed entry, distribution surface, active tube entrances, passage sizes and access. Relate those openings to the largest expected particles and fibres. A photograph of the outer head cannot establish internal distribution.
Test the cases that challenge distribution
Record cold start, minimum stable feed, normal load and the most concentrated product. Inspect the distribution surface and tube entrances before and after a representative run. Keep feed temperature, viscosity, solids and the arrangement of any recycle in the record.
Agree what counts as evidence
Use the proposed geometry, a witnessed distribution observation and an agreed inspection method. Total feed flow and a clean external vessel do not prove that each active tube is wetted. Mark untested operating points rather than extrapolating a successful water run.
Modules and record to prepare
Download a blank operating and evidence record. It contains no measured project results.
