Mechanical vapour recompressor for falling-film evaporation
Raise recovered vapour pressure using electrical drive.
HEAT RECOVERY / MVR
MVR selection depends on a complete vapour and heat balance. The compressor does not remove the need to assess feed preheat, start-up conditions or residual condensation. Electrical and steam costs must be compared on the same annual operating basis.

Operation & maintenance
Provide access for maintenance and review vibration, lubrication and protection requirements with the selected machine supplier. Define the response to feed interruption before operation.
Selection limit
The website does not promise zero steam or universal suitability. High boiling point elevation and difficult vapour conditions can change the viable configuration.
