Concentrate transfer package for falling-film evaporation
Move the outlet product without destabilising the separator.
DOWNSTREAM / TRANSFER
The outlet product may behave very differently from the feed. Pump selection must use the concentrated liquid, not a diluted sample. A stable separator level also depends on the discharge line and receiving process.

| Input | Output | Installation interfaces |
|---|---|---|
| Hot concentrate under the separator pressure | Concentrate delivered to the next process at agreed pressure | Separator level control, suction geometry, discharge line and downstream buffer |

|---|---|
| Outlet rheology | Specify viscosity at outlet concentration and transfer temperature. |
| Suction conditions | Evaluate available suction head and risk of flashing. |
| Control response | Coordinate level, speed and downstream demand. |
Operation & maintenance
Include seals, flush requirements where applicable, drainability and safe isolation in the installation review. A line that works at hot discharge may become difficult to restart after cooling.
Selection limit
No pump type is universally correct for all food concentrates. Particle size, shear sensitivity, pressure and viscosity must be assessed together.
